My 3" chlorine have problem

Hi my name maurizio pini i shoppe for my pool at leslie in howell n.j and on line for many years .2018 i bough 35 pound chlorine .i start to use feew weeks a go .mostly the are broken .and never have problem i put 5 or 6 in my coordinator to day and tomorrow all melt hi .i like to know why.maybe bad batch chlorine .i use full tank of tabled less almost 4 days i use 1 bucket for the season now i almost finish can you try to explaine thankyou what the problemmaurizio pini i little upset with the produce .people in tha store the tell me if you not sotisfid we give the new produce thankyou

WORST COMPANY, NEVER ORDER FROM THESE THIEFS!!!!!

I ordered my pool on 6/8/18, was told it would be here BY 6/19/18 but was assured it wouldn’t be that long. Here it is 7/3/2018 and WE HAVE NO POOL even though they’ve had our $4800 for almost a month!

We were told repeatedly it would be here this date, then this date, etc. When we stayed on their *** we finally found out THEY WERE MISSING A PART TO OUR POOL! But no one called us to tell us this after 3 weeks and they said said they DIDNT KNOW when it would be in! We found the number to corporate who apologized and promised to make it right.

They gave us the run around for weeks. We have talked to these people at least 15 times. They finally get the pool at LESLIES and PROMISE us it will be to our door yesterday by fedex freight. IT NEVER SHOWED UP.

Get a call today (Tuesday) at 5pm from fedex asking us to set up an appointment for delivery because LESLIES didn’t even do that nor tell us we needed to do that. Tomorrow is a holiday and they can’t deliver until Thursday but we can come get it. So we drove AN HOUR AWAY to pick it up our damn selves - get it home and guess what THERE ARE NO RAILS OR WALLS TO OUR *** POOL! This is unbelievable!!!

Insane!!! Now we can’t get ahold of anyone, offices closed and tomorrow is a holiday! We have a 24 foot hole in our backyard - for the last three weeks, have bought our sand to go under it and everything. NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT!

I want the CEOs phone number!!! I want my damn money back and I’m honestly thinking about calling a *** lawyer!

i bought shock from you guys because i saw a bogo sale on a youtube ad ( btw you guys have to *** chill on these ads, i see one of your *** ads every 3 *** minutes are you guys serious?!?!) and i wanted to try it, because i needed to get shock for my pool anyways. I calculated how much i need for a 36k gallon pool, i poured that exact amount, and guess what. my pool not only became MORE GREEN, but it became CLOUDIER. which, some of you may already know, SHOULD be fixed by shock. welp, APPARENTLY thats not in the *** minds of the *** people who own and operate this *** place. fix your *** before you make people spend their hard earned money on stuff that makes their situation worse. *** YOU AND YOUR OVERLY EXCESSIVE YOUTUBE ADS!!!!!

Shock is just chlorine. It's called shocked because it elevates the levels to a "breakpoint".

Shock does NOT fix cloudy water, but should kill algae. Additionally you should add twice the normal amount when attempting to kill algae. The chlorine is used up trying to fight the algae. If shock did not kill your algae then the problem is your filtration system.

I would check your filter, your valves, and every seal on the hardware. Often times a gasket breaks down, which allows water to completely bypass the filter.

When this happens we are not removing any dead algae, and it simply becomes fuel for new algae to grow. That's why your pool got greener.

You sound like a “shock is the answer to everything” kind of pool owner. You’re wrong, by the way. Shock does not fix cloudy water, or algae.

When you add shock to your pool and it becomes more green it’s because you have medals in you r water. Medals gone from many things.

Leslie’s is one of the only pool supply companies that actually has GOOD chemicals. Walmart and wholesale clubs actually put medals in their chemicals. Medals also come from numerous natural elements as well. Once I switch to Leslie’s Aboyt 15-18 years ago I have rarely had an issue but you have to be extremely committed to PROPER pool maintenance.

Not just “ shock it once a month” and get the dirt out. Is like a part time job owning a pool.

Change of pool filter panels

I dropped off my pool filter panel sysytem that needed to be changed 3 weeks ago before Memorial Day weekend. Kept checking on status of the change of panels and it was never done. Went by on Sat before Memorial day and the manager said that it has been very busy. Understood that it gets busy on that weekend, but the system was dropped off weeks ago with no work done on it at all. Was promised on Sat that it would be done that afternoon. Did not go back to store until Mon (Memoral Day) and no work had been done at all. Clerk said he could order panels for me, but my pool opening was on Tues after Memorial day. Thought I gave enough time for them to change panels from old to new. Very disappointed in outcome of service or lack there of.

Today, 6-1-2018, went to the Paris, TX location store. The manager, Candra, is the loudest and most vile and vulgar person ever! She’s the best you have for MANAGER position??? I will not be back. If the other employees are working, Kris, I would but that manager is running us off. She is a loose cannon. She is going to hurt someone or someone is going to knock her out. I cannot believe she hasn’t been fired!

So we have spent a lot of money at this store in the past because it's on the way to and from work. I stopped in to see if they could order a new skimmer for my pool. The manager said sure, get it in a week and that it was going to cost $90.00 . I told her that I saw the same one on line for $39.00. Her reply was " and" so what's your point? So from now on I'm shopping on line. To he'll with her and Leslie's pools. That's my point

Terrible Service

Stay AWAY. This is the worst pool place I have ever came across. These people don;'t know anything, all they try to do is sell you chemicals and other things that are totally unnecessary. Have been dealing with them for over a month and nothing is done, they sold us a very expensive pump, filter, and it doesn;t work. They came out a few times, claiming it was another problem and bouncing it off to someone else. Meanwhile it's a defective pump that was sold. The guys that came to do the work were useless, they don't have the proper training, they don;t know what they are doing. We spent more time on the phone and it's still not done. I'm surprised they are still in business. STAY AWAY!!!!

We ordered a swimming pool over a month ago, FINALLY get everything in after a month and the aluminam wall was scratched and dented up so we sent it back for a replacement! 2 weeks later customer service is still giving me the run around, saying it could be a couple more weeks!!!! Summer will be over by the time we finally can get it put up! Do not use Leslies pool if your wanting a DECENT amount of waiting time!! And a month and a half of waiting after spending over $4,000 is REDICULOUS!!! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!!

When I purchased PH Lock for my hot tub the employee DID NOT inform me that it would turn my water cloudy if added to hard water. When I tried to return it they said no for 2 reasons. 1.) It was passed 14 days and 2.) It was a chemical. News flash Leslie, you sell chemicals! It would have been nice to have been told the issue of adding this to hard water before I bought it. Terrible customer service. So even if I had brought back the bottle unopened with 14 days they still would not have taken it back. Needless to say I won't be using Leslie's in the future!! I'll find another source for supplies. SpaDepot.com looks like a good alternative with good reviews. Leslie's doesn't get good reviews.

Just now! On 15617b Ventura Blvd, I walked in and this guy just asked if I had been there before and I said yes and he said not in nice way that if not I would have to get the right measurement of the pool so he can test the water, I told him that I New the dimensions, then he told me: next time bring a smaller bottle to test the water! I grabbed my bottle and told him that he was dealing with costumers not dogs and that I would go somewhere else and he sad fine!! ZERO costumer service! I will NEVER take my money to Leslie’s again!!
