I visited the Leslie's Pool Supplies store in Nanuet, NY on Saturday, September 12th with a water sample knowing I needed to solve an algae problem; I was going to buy chemicals.

There was one other customer in the store buying a high tension cover (nice sale for the store). The sales person asked me to wait by the water testing side of the counter, and that he'd be with me once done.

Other customers came in and lined up behind the people buying the cover. As the sales representative finished the order for the cover (~15 minutes), he turned to me and said he had to take care of the customers that entered the store long after me. What a #!@#ing ***!!!

I stated I was there before everyone and was a customer buying product (I had two products already on the counter) and he didn't care and reiterated that he had to serve these customers first.

I angrily announced I'm going to Westrock Pool (on Middletown Road - incredibly close by) and was served in minutes; they happily gave me the chemicals I need and I gladly paird for them.

The service is always top notch. You have no idea how hard the staff tries to please their clients. Please think twice as you check their price on your smart phone but expect superior service!

I work for this company (not in your state) and I will agree that is no way to treat a customer. To me, every customer deserves respect, attention, and courtesy.

If it weren't for my customers, I wouldn't have a job. Therefore, I look at each customer as my boss. Sorry to hear about your experience. Just wanted to say it's not the company, it's the employee and that goes for every job/professional out there.

If I'm working alone and have 10 people in line, I try to get everyone laughing to cut the tension, ask if anyone has a question, and answer it so everyone can hear. I know my customers by name and they know me.

They even bring me and my staff food and gifts. I invite you to come experience the southern hospitality if you're ever in the area.
